PCC Calgary will explore the connections between emerging, transgressive and established contemproary performance creation practices and presentation in Canada.
Who can attend PCC?
Anyone interested in the well being of Canadian performance creation is invited to attend the conference or any event programmed as part of PCC Calgary. Performance Creation Canada (PCC) invites artists, administrators, educators, funding institutions, presenters, agents, archivists and critics from the fields of: Interdisciplinary work, Performance art, Dance,Theatre and Music.
What is PCC?
PCC is NOT a bureaucracy, hierarchy, lobby, private initiative, temporary project, an association, federation, closed club or union
Performance Creation Canada is a nationwide network dedicated to the nourishment, management and study of performance creation in Canada, and the ecology in which it flourishes. The meeting is aimed at creating a discussion between artists in dance, theatre, music, film, and visual arts. It is open to anyone interested in discussion. It is held twice every year in a different Canadian city.
